      VCR Bill

Since the introduction of the "latest" VCR bill on 1st October 2007, sales of AIRGUNS (including replicas) AND MAJOR COMPONENTS (barrels, cylinders etc.) by DEALERS is restricted to a face-to-face transaction.   Please ensure you are familiar with the changes brought about due to the VCR act, which may be viewed on the BASC website.   BASC and ACPO have produced a guide to the VCR act in PDF format, which avoids legalese and is very understandable. See HERE.   AirGunForum members must ensure their transactions conform with current legislation before posting.   An inter-dealer network to facilitate the continuation of mail order business is being established by Portland Jon. Details are HERE or direct to his website HERE.

      Editing your posts

The forum's EDIT function has been changed. After making your post, you will have 30 minutes to review and edit it. After that, only Admin will be able to make edits.   Should a post NEED to be edited afterwards, email to admin@airgunforum.net the change details, the URL of the thread it applies to and if appropriate, the reason for the change. Don't forget to identify yourself and do use your registered email address to make contact. All this is necessary, as admin must be able to identify who you are and that it is your post that you wish to edit.   Admin. will make the edit if it appears necessary. Note, if you want to change something that could easily be achieved by adding a further post to the thread, you will be expected to do it.   Forum staff generally view new posts added to threads since their last visit. If a "for sale" item has been sold or a wanted item has been obtained, just add a post to the thread and it will usually be noted and the thread title will be edited appropriately. This saves members' time wading through posts that are effectively "dead".   DaveL

      Upgrade   01/16/2018

Well it took me longer than expected and it was a bumpy road, but the forum is now upgraded to the latest version. The previous skin will no longer work with this new version, but I will check to see if there is a similar one for this version. Enjoy and if you encounter any problem just report it.

Bazzas 9015 ?

Recommended Posts

Well Bazzas 9015 is in the post , so it will be interesting to get a chance to use one . yes i had a go at Nats , or was it grahams at the euros , can't remember . but that was just a few shots kneeling . very nice . not too heavy . i think bazza will after testing sell either the tsar or the shutz . to get some posher wood work maybe . so which one will go i wonder if either .shot the tsar , but that was before it was sorted out properly by daystate . now doing just over 770 and withing three feet per second . will he become a polishing loon like colin ? or will he stick with mr Belas . Hmmmmm , we will see ??? HOLLY

If Postman Pat does his bit Bazza should have today and then the forensic testing can begin after much tea and cake are consumed.

Apparently the Tzar though sorted now has a 'restrictor' which means that at the limit of adjustment it will get to 775fps. That's fine in the warm but guaranteed to be a different story in the cold.

At least with the 9015 there is a lot more scope for adjustment if it needs it, though apparently Jon has tried some other mod. which makes it a lot more temperature stable.

We shall see...

Ooooh a mod... intriguing.

A transfer port restriction screw I guess, like others have done to 9015s.

Having seen the e-mail that Jon sent Bazza I am really interested to see how he gets on.

As for the Tsar, I'll have to ask Rich B about the restrictor, he and Steve F were both shooting theirs at the SWEFTA trophy shoot, so they must be happy with them.

As far as Mr Belas is concerned, this is old news, but he 'left' Daystate in the middle of October.

I thought Belas had been shifted over to the scope side of the firm to get business rolling better ??? HOLLY

PS Bazza is a bit slow getting going with things . so expect a delay of . god knows how long ? :poster_oops:

PSS it does not take much get Nat's interested ? just 9015 or Mods . Hmmmmm .

Weird if it was posted Thursday you'd expect it to be there pretty much next day, though I think it was ParcelForce so anything could have happened.

As I remember Parcelforce don't offer insurance over £150 for air weapons.

As for insurance paying no questions.... really? In the real world?

Value is value regardless of the item. If you pay for insurance and the item doesn't arrive they should pay no question.

Your in a dream world col . ??? HOLLY
