Lollipop targets

Recommended Posts

I was thinking it would be good to have a whole course of lollipop targets , in other words , no face plate . it would get more difficult the further the comp went on . cos the paint would come off the kill and make it harder to see the hits and misses ??? HOLLY

Wouldn't be able to see the misses Hols - no faceplate means they could've gone anywhere, be tough on a breezy day thinking about it

We were discussing this the other week at the club. It was suggested to make GP’s harder why not use lollipop type targets. It would give away how much wind is needed from previous shots but there has to be some sort of faceplate around the kill for them to be legal.

That is only implied stan . it does not actually say that in the rules . it says the target must fall when hit . face plate colour white or yellow . but it does not say you have to have a face plate ??? HOLLY

Well we already have one. It has a part faceplate beneath the disc, triangle in shape.

Try and get a picture during the week Holly and find somewhere to put it on the new course trial.
