Likewise, last one I saw was 1989 in The Grand Pub car park in Leigh. Two people poring over a dead engine wondering what to rip out probably....😁

Anyways, back ontopic, follow through...

So Sunday really concentrated on holding on target for at least a full second after shooting and it's starting to pay dividends though I did get penalised on a 47 yarder when I missed for a loss of follow through.

It just seems crazy that the extra second in position makes such a difference.

It's not about the pellet hitting, it's about not moving after you've squeezed the trigger, being able to see the pellet hit is merely a bonus.

It's extending that calmness so that there is no possibility of upsetting the shot anticipating it.

Trust me even during one of my bad flinches of old I could generally always see the pellet hit...🤣

I always spend time with the springer as you learn so much from them, as you say the PCP lulls you into a false sense of security with regards follow through.

One bad thing with springers though is you are demoralised and you have a bad day with the springer it can really tip you over the edge.

Matt

If I hit a target with a springer I’m having a good day lol

I'm sure it is just a small speed bump on the path to glory and as long as you miss the truck coming the other way you'll be fine, after all in comparison to Grandad you're a mere young stripling...

Very true. Will you be able to find all the various bits you’ve used on other guns?  🤔

No I’ve still got it. It’s hard work shooting a full course with a springer,I feel like I’ve run a marathon after lol. I need a decent scope for it the Zos is not good.
