Rock moved?

Recommended Posts

Heard a report this morning that the Rock sustained winds of nearly 60mph overnight.

Made me think that there's hope that the anchor might finally shear in the wind and it float off back to France....

The rock may not have moved but the rail way line at KW  did one comp when Holly ranged it with his scope. We wondered why the trains where going slower.

Unfortunately Holly doesn’t see anything outside of this section, so anything aimed at him has to be dumped firmly between the blinkers...🤣

I have heard (bad) stories about this stuff.

Apparently the only other thing that comes close is a Vietnamese soup that is also made from fermented fish though the heads only....

Have genuinely been offered baby goats heads cooked with the top then taken off exposing the brains, on the same banquet table was a selection of cooked and pickled eyeballs from various animals....seriously.

It was in the mid 80's when I was part of a team working in Libya trying to win a big government water treatment contract.

I  was told it was rude not to try them, I did and it was flucking minging.

I've been offered similar in China, the monkey brain soup and diced pigs spine being two that I didn't manage to blot out. How I didn't heave I'll never know.

You would die a slow lingering death mate.

I used to carry some ready brek with me so the worst case I could get some cold milk (of indeterminate origin) and mix up something reasonable.

Every now and then it would make going through airport security a bit hairy especially as in Bahrain I swear that 'oats' is arabic for finest refined heroin, or at least you'd think so judging how they got so worked up...
