Well at least after the drunken pirate action of round one hopefully things will be better for the few trying to get off the Rock, I mean what could go wrong?

...famous last words.com.

For my pains I’ll be finally testing out my new Anschutz BR rifle and then heading up Springfield for some badly needed practice...🤣

Nope it's 1030 so us from the rock can get there.

That's of course the ferry actually manages to navigate between E Cowes and Soton safely.

Now you're asking.

You'd think with their prices they would be able to get crew that know what they're doing...

Well i made hard work of that one . ended up with a 30 ex 40 . so it had a three innit . quite a difficult wind where we started . did not let you settle down  . but struggled on / typical HFT course builders and one target at 57 yards . which i ranged three times to check . so i gave it 55 yards top of kill and it fell over .  still i had to start some where . will see if i can do better at bisley ??? What you forgot to mention is that Woody cleared them all.

Enjoyed the course and to be honest, I found it difficult to read the wind. Leaves gently falling gave you  an idea but not the strength wise.

Gave my first 50+ about 30mm outside right of kill to watch it land the same outside on the left, it was only my second target. Got 50% of the positionals, only the close ones though.

Enjoyed the course and the conditions made you work for every target.

I finished on 27, should have been a 28 but forgot to dial a reducer after shooting a 50+ one on the lane before.

I missed three shots sitting high sunday . i am sure it was not ranging . all of them were into a strong wind . i am thinking the wind got under em and lifted the shots just above the kill . will check wednesday ranges just in case . and also to see if group sizes are any worse  cos of the lack of barrel cleaning . i don't think that is a problem cos i got all the minis and they do like a mini there ??? Probably, I had a couple go high on Sunday as well and we were shooting into a head on but switching left/right breeze.
