Anschutz Service Kit

Recommended Posts

Thanks to a kind member on STB who helped me get around the onerous security requirements for Egun I've been sent a Anschutz Service Kit. These come direct from Anschutz and all in from the time the auction ended to my door was about a week. I could have paid more and got the auction to end early but it saved me about £40 not doing so.

If you want to see the contents have a look here https://shooting-the-breeze.com/threads/anschutz-service-kit.43499/#post-310435

But if you don't have access the short list is a lot of screws, seals, bits, and things like 6ft-lb reg, hammer, port, valve, springs, might be a stabiliser, and oh of course the brand new trigger unit... all for just over £300 (delivered). Pretty much everything needed bar a block to put it in...

Just shows how quick and how cheap you can get service parts if you have someone willing to help you out  (thanks to the member who knows who he is...and he can mention it if he wants to)

Sounds good Rob especially as the trigger unit is supposed to be £400 on it’s own, reg £100 etc.

They also do a ‘kliene’ kit which is just the essential o rings, springs etc for about £110.

Myself I just get one of Andy Pearson’s excellent Anschutz  o ring kits for about £12 on Fleabay...👍

Yep they're pretty good kits and considering that Anschutz UK/Ruag don't seem to want to help UK users of their products he provides a valuable service.

Agreed, I even made tentative enquires about getting spares and offering them to UK competition shooters as the situation is so ridiculous and it was an emphatic nein!.

Can't see it's the germans being the problem seeing as I can buy the kit direct from them in the uk. I know neighbouring countries don't have the issue either as one shop has said about 7 days from them to you which is about what I got.

It seems to be buying the stuff over the counter in the uk is the problem.

It's a strange set of affairs.

I thought it was supposed to be different.

Then again in the past I had issues with Walther parts so just went via a dealer in Germany. Never looked back.

It's not like volume is an issue as one country I can order parts from has a tiny amount of shooters compared to GB.

Whenever I've dealt direct with Anschutz Germany I've always found them very helpful. I asked them for a couple of 2002 pins back in the early 2000's when I was shooting mine and they sent me 50 assorted in a pack which was more than generous. I think for a couple of years I was the go to person for 2002 pins in the UK.

The problem with spares was Ruag, it seems that they want you to be an RFD before they will even deal with you despite the spares being for airguns only.

Even Jon was having problems getting any sort of spares a while back which is crazy considering it's his business and he is an RFD. Things may have improved recently but the impression I get is that Ruag are making a shed-load of money out of selling RWS ammo and spare would just be a ball-ache for them.

Well look at Brian Samson, he wanted a 9015 and was told there were none in the UK so he contacted a company in Holland who had one to his door the next day and it was cheaper than the UK.

Crazy situation.

I know.

I know someone that bought an LG400 and an LP400 new, delivered, for the same price as an LG400 in the UK.
