Agreed and if the field section is used as was at the Open then it would be an even more cracking course....

Hornets now dealt with apparently and thankfully they were of the European variety so no where near as aggressive as the Asian hornets.

I doubt it knowing Alan Knight, he probably either lined up half a dozen shotgunners with semi-autos and volleyed the nests or just whipped out his vintage WW2 flame-thrower and gave it a little squirt.

Nope, the most dangerous thing are the centipedes and bamboo vipers at least in Malaya, both packed enough venom to send you to St Peter in very quick order.

Maybe, but both the viper and centipede use stealth tactics to ambush you when you're asleep in your basher...

The only reason a snake will get anywhere near you is for warmth ??? HOLLY

PS the cowboys used to put there lariots in a circle around them cos the rattlers do not like crawling across one .

Very true.
Lariots?
Is that put their 'chariots' in a circle?
I think you'll find they were wagons not chariots, they were more Boudicca's scene...

Saw a rattler skin out in the Arizona desert and it looked plenty big enough so I didn't hang about to see if it had grown any larger. Evil looking thing like a complete mould of the entire snake.
