The ACTUAL barrel length on a TX200HC is appox.
nine inches. Can anyone tell me how long the barrel
is on the TX200 MK 3? (barrel, not shroud). If a nine inch barrel can be so accurate, does anyone know why some are so long? Is it just for leverage on break barrels?

The barrel on a MK3 is 13.25 inches (I'm in the middle of rebluing my MK3 and have EVERYTHING apart). I'm thinking about cutting and rechoking this barrel to 10 inches....????

BTW, the SR barrel is 1/8-inch longer than the MK3 (the SR is going for a reblue and is fully apart too).

Why are the barrels in different sizes? Dunno....

IIRC accuracy is down to rifling, choke, crown not length, this is more to do with power.
