I leave the diatribes to others ;-)

You haven't managed it so far.

Holly's quite keen on diatribes.... but they give him terrible heartburn.

Too much sugar from all those cakes at Carisbrooke.

Love a decent fruit cake. In fact I have some here to munch after leftover homemade pizza.

The lemon drizzle cake at the South Dorset shoot today was absolutely brilliant... and the fruit cake was not far behind either.

No cake at ETL today just the usual biscuits. We did find a nice Asian hornets nest, or more specifically Paul Ross found it trying to break of a branch by the nest. To say the hornets were less than impressed by this is an understatement. I never realised Paul could run that fast and he was very lucky to only get stung half a dozen times as a cloud of hornets attacked him...

Aside from that excitement, we had a proper Club training day in preparation for the Euros/Worlds. Our resident B grade bandit took top honours with an awesome display of standing bombing during the shoot-off with Graham....

Pedro hit a wasp nest with a strimmer at one of the work parties,he was running around like he was on fire. Then he proceeded to run up to Barry who was minding his own business and the wasps decided to attack him (I didn't laugh much I promise). When Pedro got home he said he had about 50-60 stings on his body and legs and about a dozen on his head.

Yep the very same, shot like a tart for most of it and then when he needed to pull it out of the bag, I.e, three standers dropped them all no problem...

He's shooting like a demon at the moment. Shot round with him at KW. Came second but was robbed for a shoot off for 1st by some dodgy marshalling.

Yep he's like a dog shown a bone or more accurately a lost American tourist standing by Nelson with a map and a fistful of cash.
Give him his due, shooting the GP's has really brought his game on over the Summer and winning his National grade will boost his ego no end. I predict this Winter League he will have an absolute ball as he noisily crashes his way up through A grade....

Its a bigger step up from A to AA though. Lots of practice and even more luck through the winter, and of course not listening to Holly!

In B grade Stan, keep telling him he is going to find it a tad tougher in A.

I did Sunday more than once....

It's a bit of a grind through A but I'm sure if he carries on shooting like he did Sunday he'll do well.

Funny to see he's finally joined the ETL Gimp Club... :rofl2:

I think A grade is the hardest since a lot of AA shooters got dropped with the different grading system
