Things are different now . shooters are more professional now than then . with proper organisation it could work and work well . no more four hours sweltering in the sun . getting home late . but i ain't a worried cos i ain't a doing em ??? HOLLY
PS your sport , your choice .
PS colin has got the hump cos he got stuck on the M1 ( i told him not to go that way home ) me and clarky was home no probs .
No, Colin got the hump because I got up at 3am to get to St Helens to book in early, so I could shoot early and get home at a reasonable time and instead booked in early (7am) with you, was kept in the dark as to what squad I was in until finally at mid-day I found out I was in the last squad starting at 2.30.
The fact that it was ######ing down all day and hit every traffic jam known to man on the way back so I didn't stagger into bed at 2am is purely incidental, it was the ######ing organisers of that shoot thinking it was hilarious to stick all the Southern shooters (KW were in the same boat) in the later squads despite us all signing in first.
Meanwhile their local mates, rolled up mid-morning, signed in last, picked up their gear and went straight onto the course, that was why I had the hump as did a lot of other Southern shooters at the time.
