Sadly work is getting in the way of important things this week, such as practising for Sywell.

Cant afford to drop a score from the last two rounds, so its Gp course practice at Oaktree Friday and I think 3 times next week?.

Has to be the windiest ground we will see in a Gp, unless we get a repeat of a few years ago when there was hardly any. Was that the same day as the free airshow?

A dozen entered Open class, no wonder Holls has not oput his name in lol

Neither has Jon, come on your always bleating on about windless shoots but missing Sywell and went to Purley Chase, one of the countries easiest and windless grounds

Get your names down, its not to late to walk the walk !!

Ah ok, always remember a shoot years ago up that way that was in a quarry and the targets were mostly on small raised knolls of land amongst the flood. I'm sure if they'd been a downpour the lot of us would have got cut off and drowned...

If you're lucky Col you'll get a free air show. Vulcan flew over first time I was there.

Wind is skill lost in modern day FT and course setting, not pot luck.

Looks like a walk in the park looking at the weather AM, add 50% more drift to PM, fairs fair.

Only shot there once with barely any drift, edge of kill, think it was the last 100 they did Rob F won.

2009 GP was made for me, thinking 14 to go can afford to miss 8 for a clear win. That the year they had a 45 yard 1" needing 2 kills off edge went down, shame about the rest.

I've shot there a couple of times,it's one of my favourite grounds. Didn't really find the wind a problem if I'm honest. It's was consistent and easily readable. I prefer that then aiming different direction on one lane

Aaagh your just a pussy, that place has brought even the best rated shots in the land to a mere B grade score.

Always pleasant there if 75 mile closer would have joined years ago.

How come you not entered then Jon, surley this is one shoot you should be at!

Holly can go to windless woods, he would like Purley Chase, even he too would score well there!
