Belated thanks to EDFTC folks for the day. As Alf said as we left to go home, it was a jolly good one - even with the sun in our eyes driving back west!
I hope to put some photos on the Dartmoor site in a day or two - we are only just back on line as of late last night - a new hard disk was needed! The East Devon course really was a good one, I thoroughly enjoyed it, also the company plus it was good see a few "old" faces from WAFTA (I mean that in the nicest possible way!) - John and Dave know that!!! Also, the ladies in the gazebo did sterling work - and the fruit cake has become famous (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Will post re photos when uploaded for viewing. Keith |

Holly it was also the first shoot in 6months Dian had shot
The wood was not that dark but range finding was trick as a backlight was just behind the targets as we on the edge of the wood, which drew your eye to the light on sitting and looking at the target you'd think it was close to full range getting the scope on it was yards under Being an open the rules are bent slightly target 1, 1" kill came in at 38 yards laterer a 30mm kneeler it was a good course enjoyed shooting it good bit of banter Gary Ps was also beaten by Dian by 1 taget This post has been edited by sportsmatch: Tue Oct 17 2006, 10:33 |

Somewhat off-topic but just to let SWEFTA members know that I'll be signing autographs at the next SWEFTA shoot if they bring their Nov copies of Airgun World, regarding the write-up of the SWEFTA/Dartmoor Grand Prix (pages 73-75) back in August.
Regards from - "The local legend that is Keith Ryan" ...........................................and that is a quote .......................thanks, Tim, cheque is in the post! Reminder - photos from WAFTA / SWEFTA event are posted on the Dartmoor club site - HERE. |
