contrary to rumours at another club in the area the mill isnt being knocked down, the other local mill nr the firestation is.
several businesses from that mill are relocating to the victoria mill.
another rumour from the same source has got it wrong that im finacially involved in the range. i can sate here that i am secretary and not treasurer

just another attempt to stop the club in question loosing members who want to shoot during the week and not queue up to shoot at short ranges.

So that everyone is absolutely clear could you please let us know just which club this is.

Doing so will let all know who it then isn't. There are a good few clubs in the area and it is totally unfair for the wrong ones to be thought to be doing what you claim.

nothings occcurring mike, my memory is fine too, and without opening a fued on this site i will leave it to the club in question unamed as was the nice person who spoiled my christmas last year when thanks to them, i was under investgation by the dept of work and pensions.

goad me all you like both of you, ill not be made out to be the bad guy in the issue.

ill state once more for the rumour mongers in the area - the victoria mill range is not being knocked down and the finances of both the club and the atherton indoor range are nothing to do with me.
what its got to do with anyone is my question?#

carry on with your bell in a box mike im sure itll take off one day and ray please dont act so innocent mate - it isnt working. just carry on with your own club and leave ours alone eh?

instead of digging dirt about me, my club and my mate ben, who has funded this venture and worked solid for over 2 months pumped up with pain killers for his dislocated shoulder, why dont you visit and see why im happy to be there.

This is only going to end one way.

I clearly remember the last time you made unfounded accusations which resulted in a great deal of animosity between Bolton clubs. That now has thankfully been mended.
What is your status now at BAGS ?

I do note however that these "Rumours" failed to get a mention on the BBS or STB.

It is however worth pointing out that Rivi has ranges that can cater for 240 shooters at one go and that's not counting the zeroing/plinking range that would fit another 25/30.
We also have a limited indoor range of 40 yds that will cater for 6 shooters at a time plus of course the 5 lane 10 mtr range with auto target changers.

All the above for an Annual fee of £70 and no more to pay for range fees, no matter how many times you visit thumb.gif

We may even reduce the annual fee for next year abiggrin.gif

I would also like to point out that AIR members are more than welcome to shoot at any of the Northwest's very successful Gauntlet Series (Winter or Summer) and of course any National that Rivi may host.

All members of AIR would be more than welcome.

The exception of course being yourself who has been banned for life from Rivi. As previously you would be allowed to shoot providing you were a participating member of an AIR team. (as applied before, with BAGS)

If you want to Spam the Forum at least try and do it with your own posts.

It's a Commercial venture and your now pushing it.

You don't.

You have made it perfectly clear that this club is nothing to do with you.
It's a Commercial concern and it would have been polite to ask before posting anything about it.

Re sniper22..please answer me/us two questions...

1.Why were you banned from Rivi for life...I believe you are the only person to suffer this penalty..?

2. Your status with BAGS..?

PS. The Belltarget club is thriveing thank you...we have some great members that I can call my personal friends...not just fellow members.

mad mike can i ask you one question? what has my business got to do with you?

me and ray have a history of bad feelng and have come to the stage now where we score points off each other as a matter of course.
im not rehashing the past here because theres too much to say. im not being funny but ive tried to be helpful in promoting the atherton indoor range but feel this bitching serves no purpose except to allow the hard work of the owner of the range be dragged down by this.

There is bad feeling for very good reasons. I have also no reason to hide those reasons.

Perhaps you would have done better not to accuse a "Local" club of spreading false rumours as that's where it started last time. If you have accusations to make then either back them up with facts or keep the thoughts to yourself.

What you are pushing is in fact not "another club" but a Commercial venture. It's to make money for the owner.
The Northwest now has a great camaraderie amongst it's clubs and doesn't need anyone falsely accusing any of those clubs of spreading false information.

I feel that this thread has now run it's course.

Ray.
