Important Announcement!

Hi Guys and Merry Xmas.
The forums theme was changed this morning to the Xmas theme, but as normal, I doubt it is showing up.
So a quick fix for this is to scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the Change Theme button, located on the bottom left.
Click that and you will be presented with 2 options, simply select the Xmas theme, if that fails, select the 2.3 sense theme and then reselect the Xmas theme.

At long last I've finished putting my restored Mk3 back together after over a year in bits.

Just the front and rear sights to go, BUT I can't recall which way around they go:
Does the slope on the top of the front sight slope down to the rear or front?
Are the evevation graduations on the side of the rear sight on the left or right?

Many thanks for any help!

The tallest part of the front sight is at the rear (towards the stock)

The graduations on the rear sight are on the left (near side)

Thats how they are on my rifle, hope it helps a bit.

Thanks Roger, just had that confirmed by someone else too.

Both sights locate from the r/h side of the rifle, looking down it as if to shoot.

Don't know which way they are fitted from though, would have thought either side as the dovetail should be parallel cool.gif
