Important Announcement!

Hi Guys and Merry Xmas.
The forums theme was changed this morning to the Xmas theme, but as normal, I doubt it is showing up.
So a quick fix for this is to scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the Change Theme button, located on the bottom left.
Click that and you will be presented with 2 options, simply select the Xmas theme, if that fails, select the 2.3 sense theme and then reselect the Xmas theme.

Hi

had a look in the book by Hiller but no info.

So, does anyone know how many BSA made & what the split between 177 & 22 was?

thanks

In "The Golden Century" John Knibbs tells us that Buccaneers were launched on 21st Sept. 1977 and made until 1983 with serial numbers A,AA,D,DA but gives no indication of total numbers made or of calibre split.

This doesn't answer the OP but may be of interest to someone.

Did you get the Buccaneer, oneshot?

How does it shoot?

I've got a minter, but firing it loosens your fillings, so I tend not to bother. sad.gif

Hi Gambo

Yes, I bought the Buccaneer, it fired once then broke sad.gif according to Chambers exploded view of the Bucc/ Scorpion, it was the hammer that snapped ohmy.gif , Chambers have the part but it's twenty two and a hald quid plus postage ohmy.gif

I'll have a go at making one as we have ground carbon steel at work usually and it's only a small part..
