Very good day at iceni today . very , very difficult shooting conditions down there ,but enjoyable , unless of course you were looking for a BIG score . the wind was up , down , left , right and allsorts . desperate dan who has been slaughtering the corses of late (only) put in a 31 . dodgy johns NJR started to play up and he was on 30 . so hard luck stories in abundance ??? HOLLY

Agree.Excellent course,with a very tricky wind.Didn't know whether to aim left right or straight down the middle.I knew it was going to be tricky,when i met Holly half way round and he was crowing on about the middle section being a soul breaker.See you all at KW.

Iceni course is known for strange winds at times and today was no differant and I must say the L shape end to the course works very well .

Before DC gives me grief for my pathetic performance today, Well done Dave for getting back into the Regional team.

How could I get going today after missing the first FIVE targets! Missed the first, but thought i'd sussed the wind. Next target it was worse
Then it was blowing hard at the shot went straight , so went straight on the next, missed by a country mile.. Next just ouside at Three o'clock But Nailed the mini. Then the tower shots, fluked one, bagged the top target and it was like it for the rest of the day.

Only had four targets on the course that I could safely take down the middle.

KW next. It can't get any worse. can it????

great course today...........but boy you need a Nuerofen after....... wind was left, right, straight towards.... the windicator was more of a propeller

News of the comp was that one of the lads was selling up and his Steyr and S&B FT were up for sale for £ 1600 . YES £ 1600 the pair . ( sold )??? HOLLY
PS if anyone is interested there is another LG110 in a gnib stock . plus bag , plus butt hook , plus rail and mounts for £ 1250 for sale .

Well barry , you have a very nice 9003 , gotta bit of spare cash after today ( good old pete ) drop it around to steve lannyman . give him £ 50 or so and he will knock you up a stock to put on it . then go with my blessing and win ??? HOLLY

Some of the things that went wrong today was A/ the cold B/ the wind C/ the trigger on my shutz . how come you say . well i have ben letting the wife shoot my shutz and a few others and because they are new , they are heavy handed with the trigger . plus what i did not notice was that they were fumbling the load and dropping pellets down inside the stock . these were gathering in the tunnel that the remote trigger uses and making the trigger harder and harder to pull . till in the end it would not go off . i took it out of the stock last night to see what was the matter . spotted the problem and put it back together , not thinking that it would make the trigger much lighter than before . anyway it caught me out twice today . ahh well it will be good in the summer . but nobody , but nobody gets to shoot my rifle again cept me . that's that ??? HOLLY
PS oi SY-CO . i have stormed back into the lead again mate . heh heh heh .
