BASC NI annual gundog day: Larchfield Estate, Annahilt, County Down

7th March 2012…………….……………………………………………….immediate release.


On Saturday 24th March 2012 the Larchfield Estate, Annahilt in County Down will host the 2012 BASC NI annual gundog test.

The event draws competitors and spectators from across Ireland.

Competitors will be able to enter as individuals or as three-man teams and entrants can pre-register by contacting the BASC NI office on 028 9260 5050 or via www.nire@basc.org.uk. Entries will also be taken on the day.

Sponsorship has been provided by our main sponsors Chudleys along with dogtransportboxes.com, gundoggear.co.uk and Norspace. The BASC NI team would also like to thank Mr & Mrs Mackie for their continued support in hosting this event.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:
• Overall top dog – a dog transport box sponsored by dogtransportboxes.com and £75
• 1st placed team - £120
• 1st placed individual - £50
• BASC member’s highest scoring dog - £100 donated by Foymore Lodge Shooting School and a year’s free magazine subscription to Irish Shooter’s Digest.

All winners and runners up will receive bags of Chudleys dog food and a rosette.
There will also be a raffle with prizes of vouchers for gundoggear.co.uk.
