Important Announcement!

Hi Guys and Merry Xmas.
The forums theme was changed this morning to the Xmas theme, but as normal, I doubt it is showing up.
So a quick fix for this is to scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the Change Theme button, located on the bottom left.
Click that and you will be presented with 2 options, simply select the Xmas theme, if that fails, select the 2.3 sense theme and then reselect the Xmas theme.

Hi shinny

Hope you don't mind me asking all these stupid questions wub.gif , so the the number 8526 is a batch number, not as i thought the model, so me looking on the net, and finding one for sale with 8526, dose not mean its the same as mine, i think i got it cool.gif . you guys on this forum are great.
Thank you.
Cheers. oldeyes

I think you will find 8526 is the serial number of the individual rifle.

Also, if a rifle for sale says "Webley Falcon" it is the same as yours, except some had a different rearsight.

I think from memory (very dim) that the earlier rifles had the slide adjuster, and later ones like yours had a screw adjuster.

My schoolmate bought a new one of these in, I think, 1963 or 64. It was a very good piece of kit, and very well finished.

abb, Shinny.
